About the company Our client has been established since 2002, initially providing blue collar labour to the Construction and M&E sectors. They quickly evolved and broadened their scope to providing all personnel across the construction sector including Mechanical & Electrical, Civils/Plant Operations, Scaffolding, Rail, Highways & Traffic Management, Engineering, Offshore Oil & Gas, Transport & Logistics, Data/Telecoms, Security, Professional & Technical, Shopfitting & Interiors, Facilities Management Services, Security Cleared Staff, and Outsourcing Services. Their successful Chichester office is thriving, and they are now looking to expand the team and train and develop a trainee. The job role and the desk: Your training will begin in the Construction team. After an initial period of induction and basic training, you will start to make contact with new and existing clients as well as potential candidates. Throughout your probationary period you will develop skills and become well versed in advertising, sales, recruitment, marketing, negotiating and the Construction industry in general. You will be given a warm desk to develop and in time will specialise in either Civils or Scaffolding. What they want from you in return: They don’t expect a beginner to understand their business, but are looking for someone with the right attitude and aptitude to take on board the training. If you are open minded, willing to learn and have a good work ethic, that is all they expect. They want someone with initiative and the confidence to express it. Essential Qualifications/Experience required: The position is suited to someone with a previous background in sales ideally B2B or B2C. A full and clean driving licence is essential.
