Pegasus Staff Services are seeking to appoint a trainee recruitment consultant to join the expanding team in our Burton upon Trent Branch. The role will be working on a well-established transport and industrial desk, along side experienced consultants whom will assist with on the job training. We are looking to develop a trainee and provide them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to help with developing our existing business. Our desired candidate will be self- motivated and target driven with a flair for sales, also showing enthusiasm for meeting new people, and achieving results. Following an initial training period, you will be confident to sell our brand both over the telephone via cold calling and face to face at client meetings, set up by yourself. You must be self- motivated with a passion to succeed in a very competitive industry. You will need to be flexible in your approach to working hours (as out of hours on call duty will be shared to cover the phones on evenings and weekends). You should also be an excellent communicator at all levels with a talent for providing exemplary customer service. If you’re self-motivated but consider yourself able to work in a small team to achieve consistent results, then this job may be for you! Your focus will be to build upon and maintain existing client relations and to enhance our database of both clients and driving & industrial temps. As you will be required to do client visits from time to time then a full UK driving licence and your own transport is essential. Your key roles and responsibilities will be: * Account management * Registering new candidates * CV searching/ resourcing temps and matching temps to suitable vacancies available * Reference checking applicants * Checking applicants RTW & ID documents, driving licences etc * Periodic DVLA checks for drivers * Updating job boards/ ads and managing social media posts * Assisted client visits * Telephone sales both warm and cold * Assisted client entertainment, business lunches, networking events etc * Shared payroll duties (processing & calculating temp timesheets, producing client costings, chasing PO numbers etc) so applicants will need to be confident with numbers/ spreadsheets * Use of Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook * Out of hours on call duty 7 nights from 14 * Hours of work are flexible however; core office hours are normally 9am 4pm Monday to Friday with a ½ hour break each day.
