Recruitment Service Engagement and Marketing Lead

Main Purposes of the Job: To support the Head of Operations and Recruitment Service Manager to successfully coordinate and deliver up-to-date and relevant communications to the private, independent and voluntary care sector in Hertfordshire through a variety of media, fulfilling elements of the overall HCPA Marketing, Communications and Events Strategy and Recruitment Strategy. Contract Terms: Full time (37.5 hours per week working 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday with 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day) 1 year renewable contract. This is a new and exciting position for someone to support the expansion of a rapidly growing organisation. This diverse role will appeal to a candidate with a creative flair a passion for media and communication who is self-motivated and person focused. The ideal candidate will have some marketing and / or recruitment experience but this is not essential. The main requirement is to be passionate about providing effective communication to enhance the recruitment service. Main duties and responsibilities 1. Engagement: Visit care providers, colleges, schools, job centres and other organisations that either are looking for people to work in care, or may have people available that would want to work in care; 2. Campaigns; Assist the Recruitment Service Manager in raising the profile of working in the care industry in Hertfordshire, influence individuals towards the rewarding work that can be done in the care sector and promote the careers available to individuals in the sector. 3. Customer satisfaction – Manage call to action surveys. Successfully coordinate telephone marketing and feedback campaigns. Actively seek regular customer and partner feedback 4. Email marketing – successfully create and distribute email campaigns and newsletters relating to recruitment and other services, and analyse and report on results 5. Events – initiate, plan and run any recruitment related events to gain interest in the service 6. Website -- maintaining the Herts Good Care Recruitment website in line with business objectives, ensuring the content is up to date and relevant. Use google analytics to influence website content and functionality. 7. Digital Marketing - Identify hot topics and communicate these through our digital channels including social media, forums, blogs and video production. Work across several social media channels to ensure HCPA brand, Herts Good Care Recruitment Service and messages are delivered consistently 8. Design - Design and produce literature to aid marketing campaigns adhering to HCPA brand design guidelines. Liaise with printers, obtain best value for money Essential Experience and Skills Required: • High level of inter-personal skills and customer focus; • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; • The ability to plan, prioritise and organise well; • High competence in analysis and interpretation of information and data; • Highly self-motivated and able to work to set deadlines; • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages; Desirable: • Awareness of the current marketing sectors and up-to-date with all current media and marketing trends and tools; • Awareness of the Social Care Sector; • Experience in working in the Recruitment Sector; • Demonstrated experience in marketing, design and campaigns. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday usually 9:00am until 5:00pm. Office based in Welwyn Garden City. Travel expenses will be paid
