Redline Group, the 65-strong high-technology and engineering recruitment specialist based on the Beds/Herts Border, has an exciting opportunity for a talented Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our Manufacturing and Operations team delivering permanent recruitment for the engineering, technology and electronics sector throughout the UK. Redline relocated to new, larger offices in 2017 to facilitate our growth (Forecast >10% again in 2019-20) and continue to invest in hiring, training, development and professional qualifications for our team, to maintain and grow our market position within the UK technology sector. Redline has a long & successful history of recruiting Manufacturing and Operations professionals within high technology/electronics clients in the UK and Europe. This role is to head up and further grow a team of Consultants who recruit within the UK and EMEA manufacturing sector. You should be confident, able to initiate, implement and develop change within the team and achieve a strategy to increase the team's revenue year on year. You will take a leading role in client development and management, increasing the front-end engagement with clients to lock them into long term, volume and/or exclusive relationships. Working with the Head of Operations, you will devise and implement a business plan to review existing client strategies, identify growth potential, engage with, visit, and develop contacts ensuring this is managed through the team. You will engage with new clients, assessing current and new markets/technology niches and create a strategy to engage with, meet and win new business We seek an experienced and proven people manager from the professional technology arena with demonstrable sales/business development and account development skills. You should have evidence of creating, leading and developing sales/recruitment consultants to sustainable success. We have created an atmosphere for people to succeed.
