Role The Unitemps Birmingham office, based at Millennium Point, is looking for 2 Recruitment Executives to join its vibrant office with big growth plans. We are keen to speak to people who have recruitment sales experience and are looking to take their recruitment careers to the next level within a truly unique environment. 1st interviews - 8th Jun 2018 2nd interviews - 12th June 2018 Duties and responsibilities To support the strategy and 5 year plan of Unitemps Birmingham in developing and expanding the Unitemps recruitment service with businesses in the local area, achieving targets and contributing to growing the external business revenues via temporary and permanent assignments. New Business Development • Carry out new business development activities including direct telesales, client meetings, mailshots, e-marketing and exhibiting at conferences in order to generate business • Provide research through new business to be used in targeting UK clients on individual assignments and preferred supplier relationships • Target new business development activities in the development of appropriate sales and marketing materials and at relevant conferences • Undertake competitor, customer and pricing analysis to identify and exploit new potential markets and benchmark Unitemps’ offerings to competitors Account Management • Deliver an excellent level of service to the new and existing accounts of Unitemps • Uphold the University’s reputation through excellent customer service of a client base • Assist clients to identify their leadership/professional recruitment needs and develop a bespoke search/recruitment strategy for each assignment • Deliver outstanding levels of communication and management of expectations throughout the process to ensure the client is fully aware of developments and delighted with service provided • Develop a detailed knowledge of the higher education sector, including the disciplines, roles and challenges the sector is facing and how this impacts the business Recruitment Process Managing aspects of the recruitment process, with support from the Director of Unitemps and Birmingham Recruitment Manager, which will include: • Attending client meetings with external senior figures to gain a thorough briefing for the assignment and developing a search/recruitment strategy with the client • Carrying out the all aspects of the recruitment process such as winning new business, advertising, search and selection, right to work checks, interviewing candidates and offer management • Composing and coordinating advertising as directed by the client • Providing excellent candidate management support from initial approach through to meeting face to face and advising and assisting through the interview stage; either to successful appointment or sensitively managing out of the process if unsuccessful and delivering constructive feedback to assist with future posts and continuing relationship with individual. • Conducting detailed interviews face to face to determine the suitability of the individual for the post • Assisting in the production of a thorough and well-researched shortlist • Guiding the candidate through interview and appointment process Skills and experience • Recruitment experience • Experience of presenting and liaising within large organisations, developing long-term relationships with decision makers at all levels • A sound understanding of the temporary recruitment market, with proven experience in business-to-business sales • Awareness of new developments within recruitment, particularly with regard to legislative changes and issues affecting the HE/FE sector. • Degree qualified or equivalent Location Birmingham; Millennium Point
