Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Entry Level - £20,000 - £22,500 starting salary, rising to £25,000 - £27,000 after 12 months. 1st year OTE £40,000 - £50,000, 2nd year OTE £60,000 - £100,000 (many exceed this) Company car (or car allowance), healthcare and pension (after qualifying period). Team Holidays / Individual City break Incentives, Monthly "lunch clubs", team nights out etc… The Recruitment Consultant role / day-to-day: The role is working for an innovative, market leading international recruitment business, specialising in technical recruitment (IT professionals, Engineers etc...). Following an industry recognised residential training course you will quickly develop into a productive recruitment consultant within this highly successful team. Your day-to-day will include: * Developing a client base within your technical market with a combination of telephone sales, email / internet marketing and networking. * Developing a database of specialist candidates and freelancers in your market by advertising and social networking. * Taking briefs from clients, meeting clients and candidates, resourcing vacancies, arranging interviews, negotiating fees / salaries / freelance rates, closing deals, making placements and having fun! What is required? * 12 month+ sales experience is essential. Examples of the backgrounds of recent starters include advertising / media sales, estate agency / lettings, financial services sales, fundraising, door-to-door, gym membership sales, events sales, technical sales, medical sales, IT sales, Travel Representatives, mobile phone sales and call centre telesales. * A willingness to work outside the normal "9 to 5" and the drive and determination to succeed in this lucrative and competitive market. * Ideally degree-educated, though applications will also be considered from non graduates with good written and verbal communication skills.
