Recruitment Consultant – Permanent (Industrial) - required for this very successful Recruitment Agency based in Thame, Oxfordshire. As an Industrial Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for the ownership of the desk and placing candidates in engineering, industrial and catering roles. This is a well established desk in which you will be expected to maintain as well as generate and develop your own leads and to gain new business through telesales calls and client meetings. This is an opportunity that will both challenge and inspire you. You will work within a friendly team and be supported by a resourcer and administrator, although some 360 recruitment is necessary. This can be an ever-changing role, so you must be very organised, pro-active, forward thinking, resilient, with the ability to multi-task, problem solve and work efficiently and productively. You will have excellent communication, listening skills and cope well under pressure. Recruitment experience isn’t essential, but would be beneficial; however, you should have transferable skills and ideally a proven track record in account management and business development. Ideally 3 years +. Recruitment Consultant - Main duties will include: * Interviewing and placing candidates in various permanent roles; * Negotiation on costs and terms with clients; * Placing advertising via own website and local media; * Checking ID for right to work in the UK; * Keeping on top of GDPR administration regulations. Additional Duties: * Helping the Temp Controller as required to fill bookings/make sure temps are aware of the paperwork and have the necessary paperwork i.e. timesheets, new employee forms etc; * Cover the temporary controller’s desk in their absence. Recruitment Consultant - Starting salary is negotiable with a competitive commission structure which will be put in place after a qualifying period, with a personal quarterly and monthly team target to be hit. Holidays: 20 days to start, with 22 days after 2 complete years then rising 1 day per year to 25 days + Bank Holidays. Working Hours: 5 days a week, part time hours, to be discussed. Tuesday 8:30am start for meeting and to work between 5.30pm and 7pm once a month to data cleanse and catch up with candidates. Recruitment Consultant
