Based in our Cross Gates office in Leeds, you’ll work as a 360’ recruitment consultant within a focused market. You’ll become the face and voice of Recruit Engineering to your customer base, where your responsibilities will include business development, sales, client meetings and networking, candidate sourcing through to managing the recruitment life cycle.
We are looking for individuals that match our ambition, energy and enthusiasm - whether you are an experienced engineering recruiter or a recruiter considering moving markets.
Training, development and support will be offered to all successful candidates.
We are looking to branch out into our very own office space in Leeds and our target date for this is March 2020.

You will be paid commission monthly, which is uncapped and based on the monthly revenue you generate. In short, the more you bill, the more you'll earn, and with an uncapped structure it means that you really do have the opportunity to maximise your earning potential!

A starting base salary of £20-26k, based on experience
20 days holiday (Basic), rising 1 day per year for a total 5 years plus additional days off to celebrate your birthday and incentive holiday days
Weekly shutdown over the Christmas period, not taken from your holiday entitlement.
Quick progression & career growth. You will have promotion targets in place throughout, you’ll be given a clear plan for you to achieve those targets and will be rewarded with base salary increases once you get there

Generate fees in line with agreed targets
Build long lasting relationships with our clients
Become the go to Recruiter for clients
Develop a significant following and industry knowledge on the market place through digital communications using appropriate social media
Develop and deliver a business development strategy
Negotiating contracts and appropriate commercial terms in line with company strategy
Attend networking and exhibition events to help grow our market share
Manage and deliver excellent experiences for our clients
Assist with business and marketing strategies to grow the business
Business Development by way of tele-sales and face to face meetings
Key client management and development
Identifying and creating relationships with other account decision makers
Provide excellent customer service to close repeat business through the company’s unique selling points & culture
Advertise vacancies on relevant job boards
Build awareness of the business in the market place through digital communications and digital marketing
Build a personal brand and reputation with candidates
Be seen as an expert in your field
Develop and own a process with generates a sufficient pool of candidates to place
Headhunting potential candidates
Interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with client vacancies
Developing a consistently excellent candidate experience
Screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for clients to interview
Helping candidates to prepare for interviews through face to face meetings at our office
Maintenance the candidate database and promoting jobs to new and existing candidates
Developing strong relationships with candidates
Utilise the CRM system ensuring all calls are logged, actions are followed and the system updated correctly
Share your expertise and experience with others
Contribute ideas to improve and influence the business
Support colleagues on every occasion

Own your own personal development
Ensure all necessary administration, payment and aftercare services are concluded in line with company policies
Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates and clients

An experienced Recruitment Consultant either currently within the engineering sector or with an interest in learning this marketplace.
Both perm and temp recruitment experience
Having a can do attitude
Self-motivated & enthusiastic
Ready to strive for success in this 360 role
Good at building relationships with candidates and clients.
Active on social media
Excellent Business Development skills
Previous key account management experience
Experience of resolving issues in a professional and timely manner
