Your official title will be “Business Manager”, and your fun, but challenging task is to lead, develop and inspire your team to deliver their planned sales targets - whilst winning your own new clients and keeping them happy by delivering amazing service. You will be responsible for ensuring each of your team members is fully motivated, high performing and committed to delivering results, as well as personally identifying, negotiating and developing long term profitable relationships with key customers in your chosen sector, through the full recruitment cycle. You will need to be a skilled negotiator and confident presenter through dealing with senior managers at businesses within the Built Environment or Nursing Sector. Your ability to motivate a team and build effective relationships with new and existing contacts will be pivotal to succeeding in this position. Title: Business Manager Key Objective: •To deliver the planned team sales targets •To lead, develop and inspire the team Key responsibilities: •Budget & activity achievement: •Deliver team and individual sales budgets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis •Deliver team and individual activity targets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis, surrounding: •Client interviews arranged •New vacancies generated •Face to face interviews between consultant and candidate •Introduction campaigns generated •Client visits attended •People and performance management: •Lead the team, ensuring each team member is fully motivated, high performing and committed to achieving •successful delivery of targets •Agree yearly and monthly objectives and targets with individual team members •Ensure effective performance management by setting SMART objectives for individuals and regularly reviewing •progress against these, taking corrective action where necessary •Learning and development: •Take ownership of your and your teams learning and development •Identify training and development needs within the team and ensure the delivery of coaching and training programmes that develop appropriate skills, attitudes and behaviours, so as to improve performance and capability within the team Business & Account management •Personally identify, negotiate and develop long term profitable relationships with key customers in agreed sectors •Take ownership of team’s activity pipeline to ensure delivery of sales targets •Take the lead role in customer visits and negotiations •To provide effective and focused ongoing customer and sector account management/development plans to aid •the achievement of the sales plan •Develop existing customers through close, cross functional relationships and expanding the services offered (assignment services, consultancy services) Values •Instill an environment where your team lives their working lives according to our values to ensure they interact with customers, colleagues, candidates and suppliers in a way that mirrors the belief of the company Package and Benefits Summary: •Competitive salary - dependent on experience •Exceptional uncapped commission structure •Holidays - On commencement each employee is entitled to 20 days paid annual leave per year.
