As British Engineering Services continue to win clients (and awards!) we are set to reach new heights in 2020, and it comes as no surprise that all this success is set to bring new hires to the business! To help us achieve our ambitious (but achievable) recruitment plan we are excited to be hiring a Recruitment Administrator to sit within our HR Team.
What will I be doing?
Our recruitment process is something we are really proud of, we have really high standards around who joins our business, and they start from the moment that a candidate registers an interest in working with us. As our Recruitment Administrator, you will work hard to assist in the sourcing and assessment of potential candidates. This will involve adding candidates to our talent pools and keeping in touch with them until an active vacancy arises, supporting our Recruitment Advisor, Chloe, with the advertising process, coordinating and arranging interviews with our hiring managers and technical teams.
Our rigorous recruitment process ensures that we only ever employ the best, so it is important that all of our successful candidates receive a positive on-boarding experience. You will support them through their pre-employment referencing period, ensuring that we are on track to achieve their planned start date, assisting our referencing partners with their process, and keeping our hiring managers and training teams up to date with any progress. We want each of our new hires to feel like VIPs, and our Recruitment Administrator will play a massive role in this!
Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of our jobs keep progressing, that our hiring managers and technical teams are moving forward with their candidates and are supported through the process and, most importantly, our candidates receive the best possible experience, regardless of the outcome of their application with British Engineering Services.

What experience do I need?
You will offer experience within a Recruitment or HR team; creating, maintaining and adhering to processes. Ideally you will offer experience coordinating candidate on-boarding including completing right to work checks, managing references checks, verifying contract details, creating and raising purchase orders and, ensuring everyone is updated at all times throughout each process. You will do all this whilst always ensuring that every candidate receives a positive on-boarding experience.
Our Recruitment Administrator will ultimately be selling British Engineering Services as an employer of choice to candidates, so we need someone who is really passionate, inquisitive and happy to deal with people at all levels. You will be a confident communicator, as you will be supporting candidates and hiring managers across all levels. You will be organised and efficient, as we are a small and very busy team; who work across multiple systems and who often have multiple conflicting deadlines.
