Outlook and FSG are part of the CareTech group and we are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Recruitment Officer to plan and co-ordinate marketing, promotional and recruitment campaigns and other activities, that result in the successful recruitment of foster carers for two Fostering Agencies; Outlook and FSG. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Service and the Marketing and Recruitment Manager. The post holder will be required to support the carer recruitment process in line with the Divisional Strategic Development and will need to work to targets and have a flexible approach to working some weekends and evenings. The ideal candidate will develop marketing and advertising plans in consultation with the Recruitment and Marketing manager based on intelligence from commercial and customer needs, plan and deliver an annual calendar of promotional events, develop marketing materials and advertising to support recruitment and present and facilitate marketing recruitment events. You will need to work with partner agencies, within budget constraints and seek to achieve value for money in all activities. Regular reporting, monitoring and evaluation of activities against targets and timescales including individual campaigns. The role will include the development of internal and external communications i.e. quarterly Newsletters and Bulletins. The post holder will identify opportunities for positive media coverage, partnerships and sponsorships in order to generate interest and promote the services of FSG and Outlook. The Marketing & Recruitment Officer will ensure that an appropriate range of literature and promotional goods are available for specific campaigns and events, review the database of referrals in order to plan effective marketing campaigns and maintain records of advertising and events to ascertain the effectiveness of campaigns. The content of social media pages must be managed and updated on a regular basis ensuring compliance with child protection procedures at all times. The role requires that you work effectively with the agency management to ensure efficient responses to enquiries and leads for prospective foster carers and ensure full compliance with organisational Policies, Procedures and Guidelines for assessing potential foster carers. You will ensure management is proactively updated on all matters relating to practice, compliance and outcomes. Due to the nature of the position, successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
