ENS Recruitment, based in Westcliff on Sea, have been established since 1991 supplying temporary and permanent staff to the healthcare sector. We are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Bookings Recruitment Consultant to work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (some overtime available so flexibility required) Car owner is preferred. You will be working as part of our Healthcare Bookings team who are responsible for providing care staff and qualified nurses for residential homes, hospitals and community support clients. Job description: To fill all outstanding and emergency shifts on a daily basis. To fill any outstanding shifts left on computer system from previous shift. To deal with any incoming business opportunities or transfer to Assistant Branch/Branch Manager. Keeping up to date with emergency on-call clients needs and inform and update them with current progress. Filling shifts for clients when staff do not attend and re-arrange rotas as necessary. To ensure handover is completed, verbally handing over any shift explaining any problems encountered if necessary to the out of hours on call team. To ensure that care staff meet legislative requirements before booking. Dealing with day to day complaints relating to care staff on an ad hoc basis. Referring performance related complaints to relevant department as and when they occur. Logging accidents and incidents relating to care staff and updating on-call clients as and when they occur, To ensure that staff are aware of risk assessment and risk control procedures. Maintaining good relationships with clients, care staff and colleagues. PLACEMENT OF TEMPORARY WORKERS Booking care staff and qualified nurses into temporary bookings, managing and monitoring self bookings, time-sheet queries and holiday requests. Management and monitoring of rota’s for agency workers and clients. Managing a percentage of clients, including sourcing, building and maintaining good working relationships, in addition to consolidating the relationship and monitoring the service provided. Acting as the main contact for specified clients and managing the client’s requirements. Gaining and following-up client feedback of the service received. Meeting new agency staff as and when recruited. Refer incoming business opportunities to Branch Manager or sales team. To source and identify new business opportunities for the Company on an on-going basis. To ensure that care staff meet legislative standards, client requirements and company policy and procedure before booking into shifts. Informing management of any complaints received, and dealing with day to day complaints relating to care staff on an ad hoc basis. Referring performance related complaints to relevant department as and when they occur. Logging accidents and incidents relating to Agency Workers as and when they occur as stated in Company policies and procedures. To obtain accurate details and requirements of all bookings. To ensure candidates suitability against client requirements, including experience, skills, qualifications, training and vaccinations. To follow up on all client activities in a timely manner, including booking agency workers, requests for statements, accident and incident forms and acknowledging verbal and written complaints. To visit prospective and existing clients to develop business in addition to consolidating the relationship and monitoring the service provided. Regularly contacting clients both by telephone and regular visits in order to maintain and maximise existing business potential GENERAL & OTHER DUTIES To keep management informed about any developments, trends or problems relating to clients or agency workers. To make recommendations to management concerning potential improvements to company procedures and standards. To project a professional image in all aspects of personal presentation. To deal with incoming telephone enquires on a daily basis. To assist the Bookings team and Branch Manager on a daily basis. To assist with ad-hoc projects, campaigns and assignments as required. To deal with any complaints in relation to staff placed and ensure that management is informed and that they are dealt with in a prompt and professional manner. To conform at all times with Company polices and procedures, codes of practice and complete the relevant paperwork To work in accordance with REC regulations To undertake any further training deemed necessary and consistent with the objectives of the post. To undertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be assigned.
