You will work as part of a firm that strives for the very best levels of performance and professionalism from every member of its organisation. The Role: The successful candidate will take on the role of Trainee Recruitment Advisor. They will work closely with the other members of the Trainee Recruitment Team so source, review and interview Trainee candidates. The role and responsibilities of the role involve: Applications * Processing training contract and work experience applications (approximately 4,000 per year) through our online recruitment system * Responding to candidates’ enquiries by telephone and email * Providing written interview feedback to candidates Recruitment Events/Work Experience Schemes * Identifying trainee solicitors to assist with events * Assisting with the organisation and running of work experience schemes * Booking travel/hotels * Setting up rooms (e.g. name tents, materials) * Processing invoices and student travelling expenses * Attending recruitment fairs and events on an ad-hoc basis Interviews * Creating interview slots on the online recruitment system * Liaising with secretaries across the firm to identify partners to conduct interviews * Liaising with reception with regard to interview rooms, equipment, travelling expenses and weekly schedules * Producing on-line interview packs * Meeting candidates on arrival and conducting written exercises and HR interviews The Candidate: * Applicants must have previous experience in Trainee Recruitment in a law firm. * The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and confident communication skills. * Must be proactive and willing to provide feedback, share information and offer suggestions for continued improvement of workflow. * Previous experience with recruitment systems as well as Microsoft Office Packages is beneficial
