Job Description

My client a leading International Educational Institution based near Egham are recruiting for an Associate Director for Student Recruitment and Admissions. Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, the Associate Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions will contribute to the development of a short-term and long-term admissions strategy consistent with the School's overall goals, and play a key role in the recruitment and selection of day and boarding students who will be best served by the Mission of School. The post holder will work with the Director and other colleagues across the School in optimising processes relating to recruitment, admissions, retention and financial aid and will have primary responsibility for the ongoing identification, assessment and relationship management of key influencers in the student and parent decision making process in the UK and worldwide, including education consultants retained by families, agents, relocation consultants and key links in schools where students have previously transferred or may do so in the future. This position may require significant travel to key market areas, as part of the School's commitment to attracting an internationally diverse student population, for both its academic year and summer school activities. The postholder will also conduct admission interviews, host admission receptions, review and evaluate admission applications for the constituent parts of the School, and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions. The postholder will have a high-level understanding of the challenges and opportunities within with regards to student recruitment and admissions and will be able to work with the Director to credibly inspire all school constituencies to actively participate in student recruitment and retention, and to effectively liaise with those influencing students and families to enrol and remain. He/she will have exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and be self motivated, flexible and growth-oriented.
