Talent ranked number 87 in Australia’s Top 500 Private Companies

Talent has been named in the Top 500 Private Companies, leaping from 96 to 87 on this year's list. Talent was also ranked 36 in the top 50 best private enterprises to return on shareholder funds after tax.

Talent reported a group turnover of $640m for FY19, and a year-on-year growth of 16%.

The Australian Financial Review and IBISWorld list is ranked by revenue and includes public unlisted companies, partnerships, associations and private companies. Data is gathered through primary research, ASIC-lodged company reports and its own appraisals of company revenue based on historic data and industry analysis.

Talent founder and chairman, Richard Earl, said, “It’s very positive to see this strong financial growth and the recognition of Talent in and outside of the recruitment industry. As a company that started in a home office in Perth 24 years ago, we are proud to have taken our unique brand of recruitment to both Europe and the USA.

“I believe Talent’s success is largely driven by our desire to redefine recruitment by bringing the human element to the forefront of everything we do. We will continue to innovate with this focus and respond to the shift towards freelancers and the changing workforces of the future.”

Mark Nielsen, Talent APAC CEO, commented, “The continual improvement in ranking each year is testament to team excellence and our desire to break from the pack by providing the most rewarding and empowering experiences for freelancers and clients. We look forward to the year ahead and plan significant growth that will see Talent continue to climb the Top 500 Private Companies in Australia list.”
