Modis supports Formula E’s Innovation Manager Challenge 2019
The all electric motorsports championship ABB FIA Formula E and its official partner, Modis, have teamed up to offer one talented innovator the opportunity to work with some of the best digital and gaming minds in the world, as Formula E’s innovation manager. The Innovation Manager Challenge is designed to discover the world’s next tech superstar and to promote careers in e-mobility – a rapidly-growing sector that combines technology, sustainability and innovation.
This year’s innovation manager will work in Formula E’s Digital Team for six months, providing full support in planning and delivering gaming experiences both at the track and for fans and spectators at home. Amongst the desired skills and experience is a knowledge and a passion for video game, but previous experience of digital or gaming is not required.
Barnee Lloyd, the 2018 Formula E innovation manager, said, “For me, the entire experience was positive and productive, and I found myself making a direct contribution to Modis and the Formula E experience overall. This year’s programme is an amazing chance for someone to shine in the developing world of Esports and emerging technologies, and to join one of the fastest growing sports brands in the world.”
Modis managing director, Rafael Moyano, added, “This is an amazing opportunity for an Australian tech superstar to gain insights and experience at a global level. I encourage all tech innovators to apply.”
