The GO2 People expands into NSW
The GO2 People has expanded into New South Wales.
The company has appointed former Strategy One Human Resources national operations manager, Andre Elcham, to the role of state manager in NSW. Elcham has over 10 years of experience in the labour hire and recruitment industry and will lead a small regional team on the ground in Sydney.
The Company has signed a 3-year lease for its NSW office, based in Parramatta, Sydney and will take possession on 1st December 2017. This will provide a central base for a new team to further strengthen the company’s NSW customer-base and expand its candidate database. The new team has already begun to service new and existing NSW-based clients for their labour hire needs, across the construction, manufacturing and waste management sectors. In addition, The GO2 People has been engaged exclusively by an ASX listed multi-national to provide recruitment services to a major long-term project in Western Sydney. This will see the company sourcing in excess of 60 + highly skilled technicians.
It is expected that NSW will contribute approximately 5% of the company’s turnover for FY18. Expansion into NSW also reiterates the company’s commitment to national and international growth with plans to expand into Victoria and New Zealand in the future.
Head of growth & investor relations of The GO2 People, Paul Goldfinch, commented, “We’re excited to be entering such a buoyant labour market in NSW, particularly as our WA and QLD offices continue to perform within expectations. Commencing operations in NSW also represents an important step in the execution of our Strategic Plan and we’re very confident in the capability of our team, led by Andre Elcham.”
